The first matches in the new Sixth Division 6 were played at the
weekend with a four board game between Newcastle and Meir and an eight board
game at Cheddleton who hosted Crewe. The results are in the LMS. It looks like
most teams fielded Juniors with the odd veteran to assist. Congratulations to
the players, organisers and parents for getting the competition underway.
