John-Paul Taylor of Macclesfield played in the Open Section at the Central London Chess Congress, unfortunately finishing nearer the bottom than the top, scoring 1/5.
Thivyaa Rahulan, Roger Walker and Julian Hawthorne all played in the 4NCL Congress in Coventry. Thivyaa played in the Open Section and her score of 2.5/5 won her the Rating Prize, so very well done to her. Roger and Julian played in the Minor Section without distinguishing themselves. Julian finished on 2/5 and Roger on 0.5/5.
