Jacob Boswell won his 8th round match in the Major Open and is now on 4.5/8. Simon Edwards lost his match and remains on 4/8. Colin Davison was also beaten and is on 3/8.
In the afternoon's Rapidplay event Doug Barnett finished on 3/9 and Les Hall finished on 1/9.
