It was a full house at Newcastle last night as 16 teams contested the Rapidplay Jamboree.
There were 7 teams in the Open Section, with Cheddleton 'A' coming out on top with 6.5/8, closely followed by Stafford on 5.5/8.
There were 9 teams in the U130 Section and it ended in a 2-way tie between Holmes Chapel and Fenton 'B', both on 6/8.

With 64 players taking part, plus several parents and non-playing club officials in attendance, the Bridge Club was full to bursting point. It was a fantastic piece of organisation on Martyn Harris's part and easily the best Jamboree in memory.
