The Staffs U120 team, including 6 players from North Staffs, cruised into the Quarter Final stages of the National Championship with a crushing 9.5 - 2.5 win against Worcestershire this afternoon. In what turned out to be a very one sided match Worcestershire were only able to amass a single win and three draws. Assuming that top placed Warwickshire beat bottom placed Nottinghamshire earlier today then that makes us runners-up in the MCCU U120 Championship. If I've been able to decipher the relevant website correctly (and there's no guarantee of that !!) we will be playing Hertfordshire in the Quarter Final on the 18th May.
