The Alsager All Stars

Congratulations to Alsager on winning the team prize at the recent Rhyl Congress. There were 8 teams taking part, with the best 3 results from each club counting. Congratulations also, on an individual level, to Alan Thomason on winning the grading prize in the Major. However, Alan tells me that their star player, without a doubt, was Les Hall in the Minor who was taking part in his first ever congress. Les scored 3 out of 5 with only 1 loss and included a win against the No 1 seed. Well done Les.
