Holmes Chapel Knights went to the top of Division 2 with a 3-2 win at Fenton 'A' last night. They are now a point clear of Newcastle 'B', with both teams having one match left. Fenton remain stranded at the foot of the table.

Fenton Into National Final

Fenton made it through to the Final of the National Minor Club Championship this afternoon, following a 2-2 draw against Syston from the Leicestershire League. This result puts Fenton at the top of Group B and they will now meet the winners of Group A in the Final - date/venue/opponents not yet known.
