Newcastle 'B' took a point lead at the top of Division 2 with a 3.5 - 1.5 win at Fenton 'A' last night. Newcastle's top 3 boards were too strong for Fenton, but a draw and a win on Boards 4 and 5 for the home team gave the score line a semblance of respectability.
