Monsieur de Fault appears to have been transferred from Alsager to Holmes Chapel Pawns this season !! After their 3 man team against Alsager last last week they followed up with a 2 man team at home to Newcastle 'C' last night, resulting in a 3-1 defeat. The 2 players that did play gave a good account of themselves against higher graded opponents, drawing their respective games on the top 2 boards. This result leapfrogs Newcastle above Alsager at the top of the division.
