Despite defaulting a board, Holmes Chapel moved into the final of the Perry Trophy with a 2 1/2 - 1 1/2 win against Fenton. Wins on boards 1 and 2 and a draw on board 3 produced what looked at one stage an extremely unlikely win. Holmes Chapel will now meet Newcastle in the Final.
